Every business we work with sits somewhere on this path. Knowing which one you are in tells you what to work on next, and just as importantly, what to leave alone for now.

Individual
Before the business starts. You are at the beginning.
Early Entrepreneur
Still testing the idea. You have an idea or an offer and you are testing it in the real world.
Self-Employed
The business runs on you. Sales are becoming steady and you deliver reliably, but the business runs on your labor and your attention.
Business Owner
Structure is taking hold. Revenue is consistent and systems carry part of the load.
Business Growth
It runs beyond you. The business has systems that work together, written processes, and structured delegation.
These are not levels to climb.

There is no prize for reaching the far right. Plenty of good businesses stay self-employed for twenty years and support a family well. Success here has two forms: getting steadier where you are, or moving when you actually want to and are ready. Both count.
